Deskside Support Engineer/EUC Engineer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires experienced Deskside Support Engineers/EUC Engineer to be based in their client’s office in Wokingham, UK.
This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Wokingham office 3 days per week.
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap.
Day rate: Competitive Market rate.
The right candidate should be an experienced Intune and SCCM technical SME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage endpoints, OOBE devices, deployment of Apps for mobile devices and windows devices
- Collect, monitor, and analyse system logs and troubleshoot issues related to assigned systems
- Troubleshoot endpoint protection software, including anti-virus, anti-malware, and intrusion prevention systems
- Participate and lead in the design and implementation of new systems and upgrades
- Manage and maintain Windows 10, android, iOS, and Mac devices using Microsoft Intune
- Assist with testing and daily operational support to reduce risk through the development and implementation of MDM policies including security and reporting
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience
- Strong technical background in Intune, SCCM, Co-management, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- SME in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
- Strong knowledge on Windows Autopilot provisioning and troubleshooting
- Overall management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center
- User and group creation through Intune/ AAD
- Deploy LOB applications to an end user’s computer/ mobile devices (Windows, iOS, Android)
- Deploy Store applications to a mobile device (Windows 10, iOS, Android)
- Deploy LOB/ Store applications to group of users (AAD user groups)
- Device management and patch management
- Create, maintain, update, deploy and delete device and profile policies
- VPN profile management
- Monitor application deployment status
- Knowledge on EDR and Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Endpoint will be added advantage
- Provide technical support for EUC troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
- Good communication skills
