ServiceNow Business Analyst
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to be based in their client’s offices in Wokingham, UK.
This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend Wokingham office 3 days per week.
This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start asap.
Day rate: Competitive Market rate.
Role Description:
The ServiceNow Business Analyst works independently designing, developing and implementing IT processes, conducting research and performing analysis required to build respective modules within ServiceNow Platform. They also capture business requirements in a form of agile stories which they then test and measure to ensure that the systems are working as expected. Also responsible for performing system analyses on software programs, applications, and web services. They can also identify system efficiency and functionality by liaising with internal departments and end-users. The Business Analyst is also responsible for obtaining approval for system development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse ServiceNow business processes and documents functional requirements to increase operational maturity
- Translate and document client needs into actionable requirements
- Develop use cases, process diagrams, and requirements documentation
- Collaborate with clients and Fruition project team to design appropriate process solutions
- Evaluate requirement changes and provide feedback to ensure alignment to original design objectives
- Follow up on outstanding client needs and provide timely status reports to Project Manager
- Build positive relationships with clients by providing excellent service/ support and consistent communication as appropriate
- Work with supplier to prioritise day to day “business as usual” requests
- Accountable for planning (using agile methodology) for new functionality that comes in the tool with new implementations and business as usual requests
- Audit tool for appropriate usage, including license audits and ITIL process audits
Key Requirements:
- Experienced profile having overall experience 10+ in Business Analyst role and ServiceNow service management exp 6+ years
- Proven experience of documenting ServiceNow business requirements, functional specifications, test scripts and test plans, and end user training
- Experience using a structured SDLC or Agile/ Scrum methodology required
- Experience of designing or working with integrated processes primarily with HR Management System and Identity Management System (desired)
- Leads testing for tool upgrades
- Must be able to independently design, develop, implement, manage, and support various projects
- Good communication and proactiveness
