Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires ServiceNow CMDB Analyst to be based at their client’s office in Swindon, UK.

This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Swindon office 2 -3 days per week .

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap

Day rate: Competitive Market rate

Role Description

Ensuring coverage to CM evolution/improvement type activities such as Cloud Discovery, Server Audit Process, Critical Attribute workshops and improvements, Process & Governance work as well as supporting the ServiceNow upgrade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, Fulfill and Operate CMDB BAU requests.
  • Coordinates and manage CI discovery and other data import method.
  • Ensure that ITS managed assets are identified, controlled and properly cared throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identify, control, record, report, audit and verify services and other CIs, including versions, baselines, dependencies, attributes and relationships.
  • Account for, manage and protect the integrity of CIs, through the service lifecycle by working with change management to ensure that only authorized CIs are used, and only authorized changes are made.
  • Ensure the integrity of CIs and configurations required to control the services by establishing and maintaining an accurate and complete CMDB.
  • Maintain accurate configuration information on the historical, planned and current state of services and CIs.
  • Run and deliver CMDB Health reports as required.
  • Work to fulfill Configuration Management Service Requests as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as ServiceNow CMDB/ ITOM Analyst.
  • Good knowledge and experience of IT Service Management Processes.
  • Hands on experience of using ServiceNow CMDB and knowledge of the capabilities (Certifications, Health Dashboard, Reporting).
  • Hands on experience of making updates to the CMDB and knowledge of how to manage relationships in CMDB.
  • Hands on experience of reporting using ServiceNow/CMDB (creating reports, scheduling reports, creating dashboards).
  • Awareness of ServiceNow Discovery and its related process.
  • Experience of owning and evolving BAU operational work such as requests.
  • Good Verbal & Written Communications Skills.
  • Good Stakeholder Management Skills.
