Solution Architect (.Net & Azure)
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires experienced Solution Architects to be based in their client’s offices in Edinburgh or Manchester, UK.
This is a hybrid role, and you may be able to work some days remotely.
This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start asap.
Day rate: Competitive Market rate.
The right candidate should have experience in Microsoft .Net application stack and Azure Cloud. You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the delivery of the strategy and technical design aligned to architectural road maps across selected key domains for Group Architecture. You will support the Full Stack Architect to deliver large scale programmes of work across multiple technology domain architecture landscapes and will support the delivery of End2End architecture projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the major technology strategies for the group, bringing specific technical competencies and knowledge ensuring these are carefully reviewed through governing bodies and are then used to both inform executive committees and business leaders and underpin major programme design governance
- Define, influence, and ensure adherence to the strategic design principles and governance framework
- Provide coaching and support for other members of the function to improve and extend the Architecture capability in line with the Architecture Target Operating Model
Key Requirements:
- Experience in Microsoft .Net application stack, and Azure Cloud
- Strong technical design and enterprise-wide architecture understanding and skills
- Hands on experience in delivering End2End designs and cost-effective, innovative, and maintainable enterprise application solutions
- In depth and current knowledge of one or more common application technology stacks
- Ability to plan and think strategically on how technology with evolve and how what is delivered will fit into the overall strategy
- Capability to develop presentations for executive and senior level committees, as well as strong influencing and communication skills
