SQL Developer/ Data/ MI Analyst (Banking)
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced SQL Developer/ Data/ MI Analyst with a Banking background to join their team in their clients’ office in London. You can work remotely until Covid abates.
This is 3 months temporary contract (extendable) to start on 08th March.
The right candidate should have excellent SQL skills with deep knowledge of SQL Databases.
Key Requirements:
- 2-5 large scale data quality/ mining/ analysis/ remediation/ visualisation experience (5+ years experience)
- Excellent SQL skills with deep knowledge of SQL Databases
- SQL Data solutions with PEGA+Visualisation
- Strong knowledge of data quality, data analysis, reporting
- Strong knowledge handling spreadsheet based data and scripting
- PEGA knowledge to handle automation
- Working experience with any of the statistical packages like Python/R and SAS is added advantage
- Experience in working on solution data pipelines in hybrid environments – RDBMS [SQL]
- Ability to use visualisation tools [Tableau, Power BI etc] to storyboard and communicate insights
- Can independently structure business problems into analytics projects and POCs, develop solutions and support implementation
- Lead discovery process by identifying what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources (any Domain but BFSI – preferred)
- Utilise patterns and variations in the volume, speed and other characteristics of data supporting the initiative, the type of data in predictive analysis
- Collaborate with 2 offshore Developers
- Publications in related fields (Good to have)
- Experience in Collections & Credit process is a bonus but not mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information and key takeaways to the team and other key stakeholders in the organisation and clients
