Deployment Engineer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires experienced Deployment Engineers and a Lead Deployment Engineer to be based at their client’s office in Warwick, UK.
This is an office-based position that requires the individual to work fully onsite.
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Our client is looking for experienced Deployment Engineers and Lead Deployment Engineer to join their team and support the deployment, configuration, and training of IT systems across multiple locations. This role involves expertise in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, virtual machines, and laptop deployment, with a strong emphasis on security and user engagement.
The successful candidates will be based in Warwick and must be flexible to travel across the UK to client sites, requiring a car and a full UK driving license (this can be confirmed during the interview stage).
Key Requirements:
- Deployment Lead Engineer who can lead a team of Engineers in installing and configuring software
- Deployment Engineers who have experience in installing and configuring software
- Knowledge of Windows Operating systems from early DOS through to Windows11
- Knowledge of VMWare (Broadcom) Virtual Machines
- Installing and configuring software (that use external ports/ devices etc.. for communication to external equipment)
- An understanding of the operation of Active Directory
- An understanding of Group Policy Objects
- Building and configuring laptops
- Deployment of laptops out to users
- Onsite training of users
- Understanding of Windows Hello for Business
- Have come from a security aware background
- Has been involved in generating some required paperwork for projects
- Will be required to travel around UK for deployments
- Will be based in Warwick
- Good communicator
- Main contact for a small team of deployment engineers
- Being able to be a point of contact for a section of business
