DevOps Engineer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires DevOps Engineer to be based at their client’s office in Edinburgh, UK.
This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Edinburg office 2-3 days per week .
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on DevOps Lead engineer to manage, secure, and continuously improve our organization’s IT application CI and CD with Security measures. This role combines deep technical knowledge, covering a wide range of devops tools and skills, experience in troubleshooting, build and release. Candidates must have an end to end understanding of development life cycle and devops roles and responsibilities like automation, security, process and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in CI and CD and automation testing
- Strong understanding of software development and delivery lifecycles
- Strong understanding of DevOps organization and Agile methodology
- Software Delivery, Strong understanding of CI and CD
- Experience in software delivery and release process
- Required tools are – Ansible, DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform etc.
Key Requirements
- CI, CD automation, Docker, K8s, Ansible, Jenkins, Version maintenance tools, Grafana, Unix and shell scripting, azure
Desirable Skill:
- Power Transmission and Distribution domain
