Technical Business Analyst

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Technical Business Analyst to be based at their client’s office in London, UK.

This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 3 day per week .

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap

Day rate: Competitive Market rate

The role will work closely with the Consent Management Platform (CMP) team and stakeholders across the business to gather and refine requirements, map data flows, and support configuration and integration activities. The analyst will be responsible for translating business needs into technical specifications, assisting with testing and validation, and maintaining clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document business and technical requirements for CMP rollout across the client estate.
  • Data flow diagrams and consent journey mapping.
  • Support for OneTrust configuration and integration activities.
  • Clear documentation of implementation decisions and rationale.
  • Contribution to training materials.
  • Coordination with internal teams (Digital, Legal, Data Privacy) and external vendors.
  • Support for UAT and issue resolution, ensuring bugs and issues are recorded.
  • Ensure CMP implementation meets accessibility standards, supporting inclusive user experiences across digital platforms.

Key Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation, particularly for privacy or compliance platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Consent Management Platforms, ideally OneTrust.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Experience with data flow mapping, especially around personal data and consent.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting testing and validation of platform configurations and integrations.
  • Familiarity with digital ecosystems including websites, apps, and tag management systems.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, ePrivacy).
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments.
  • Proficient in Jira (for backlog management) and Confluence (for documentation and collaboration)
